We are able to provide Diabetic retinal screening privately to above national standards, including retinal photography, Slit Lamp examination and OCT 3D retinal scanning. The ‘Dorset Diabetic Eye Screening Programme’ will write to you and invite you to attend a screening episode on a yearly basis under the NHS, but if you would rather come here and tie it in with your normal eye examination, we make a small charge. We dilate your pupils (so you cannot drive to the appointment) but we check with Slit Lamp Microscopes, Retinal photographs and 3D OCT scanning.
